Operations Review
One review. A clear, costed plan for the whole business.
In two to three weeks we look at what the business spends, what could stop it, and where time is lost. Then we tell you exactly what to do about it, in order of value.
What we look at
Three lenses on the whole business
Spend
Telco, internet and mobile plans. Software subscriptions and licences. IT support, hosting and cloud contracts. Other recurring supplier agreements.
We compare what you pay against what you use, and against what the market charges.
Risk
The systems, suppliers, data and people the business can’t run without.
What happens if each one fails, how long you could cope, and whether backups and fallbacks actually work.
Process
How work flows from enquiry to invoice, and where staff re-key data, chase approvals or wait on each other.
Which of those steps could be removed, simplified, connected or automated.
How it works
Two to three weeks, start to finish
Usually three to five hours of the owner’s or manager’s time, plus short interviews with key staff.
Week 1: Discovery
A kick-off meeting, interviews with the people who run and do the work, and copies of bills, contracts and read-only access to the systems that matter.
Week 2: Analysis
Spend reviewed and benchmarked, key processes mapped, dependencies and single points of failure identified, and quick wins checked with suppliers where needed.
Week 3: Report
A written report and a walkthrough with decision makers, so you can question every finding and leave with an agreed set of next steps.

Questions
Common questions
Do we have to use you to make the changes?
No. The report is yours. Many recommendations are things you can do yourselves, and for the rest we’ll say who could do them. If we’re a good fit for the work we’ll quote for it, but there’s no obligation.
Will you tell us to change suppliers?
Only when it’s clearly worth it. Often the best saving comes from renegotiating with an existing supplier, removing unused services or changing a plan, not from switching.
Do you need access to our systems?
Read-only access where it helps, for example to licence portals or billing accounts. We never make changes during a review.
Is it confidential?
Yes. We’re happy to sign your NDA, and anything we collect is returned or deleted at the end if you ask.
Is any of the review fee credited if we go ahead with more work?
Yes. If you engage us for a project or retainer within three months of receiving the report, we take 50% of the review fee off that work, up to its value. For example, after a $4,000 review, a $10,000 project would cost $8,000. The credit doesn’t apply to cost-recovery work, because that is paid only from the savings we find.
What if there isn’t much to find?
That’s worth knowing too. We usually have a sense of the opportunity after the first call, and if we don’t think a review is worth it for you, we’ll say so before you spend anything.
